Inconsistent signs M62 J26-27 East

I’ve reported this issue before. The variable speed limit signage are not working properly. I travelled through the area approx 5pm on Sat 29/3. First signs said 60 then blank (no signs) then 60 again then national speed. This is really confusing and dangerous- drivers were speeding up assuming any issue was clear only to see a restriction again.

The previous time I reported this it was even more dangerous with lane closure signs being confused. At that time it was really dangerous as lane 2/3 was closed, yet next sign was blank so vehicles were moving back into those lanes despite workmen on the road.

If these signs don’t work they need to be decommissioned until they properly fixed. Current state is confusing and dangerous.
