Potential Damage to Fencing due to speeding traffic

Reported via mobile in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 17:18, Tuesday 25 March 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7337151.

There was an accident a couple of weeks ago where a vehicle sped and crashed into the lamp post and garden fences on the Royal Hospital roundabout near the A38 slip road On this occasion it hit the fences to the end property on uttoxeter road ( their garden backs onto ours) There was a similar incident 7 years ago when a car sped in the same place and took down 3 of our fence panels , exposing our garden and house , open to security issues Are you able to erect some kind of safety barriers so this doesn’t keep happening please? This causes a lot of stress and most of all are gardens are exposed and has a massive impact on security Please could you advise , thank you Mrs Dayaram
