Traffic building up

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7327368.

Traffic lights are not allowing enough cars off the motorways in a timely manner, this is causing up to 1 mile of standstill traffic every morning. So many near miss accidents with cars standstill in lane 1 and speeding up in 2/3.

  • Issue with traffic light timing signals, massive ques on M4, concerned for patient safety. This is also a main route the the Great Western Hospital.

    I’m sorry to hear about these ongoing issues, I completely understand how frustrating and concerning this must be, especially with the tailbacks are affecting motorway traffic. I’d like to reassure you that we’re aware of the problem and are working to resolve it as soon as possible.
