Uneven road surface where pedestrian refuge and electric cables have been put in

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 18:16, Friday 21 March 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7316639.

We are residents in Cameron Drive and are being kept up all night by HGV’s and other heavy traffic banging when they go over the uneven road surface on the A46, lorry’s constantly hit the kerb on the pedestrian island where the road kinks to allow for the pedestrian refuge, also the road surface is uneven where (I presume) cables have been layed to provide street lighting into the pedestrian island! This is getting unbearable at night, we as the residents are considering reporting to the local news if it’s not resolved asap!
