Multiple lights not working

Reported via desktop in the Not working (NH) category anonymously at 12:55, Friday 21 March 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7314813.

(1) There are between 10 and 20 (estimated) lamp posts bearing lights that are not illuminated. These are situated towards the end of the A3(M) Southbound, where it merges on to the A27 (Westbound); and on the Westbound A27 carriageway itself (near to Farlington). As well as failing to illuminate the highway, the defective lamps are also a safety hazard for pedestrians/cyclists using the off-road route that runs parallel to the highway & shoreline.

(2) Further defective lamps were noted in the central reservation of the A27 carriageway either side of the Broadmarsh bridge, situated just South of the Bedhampton roundabout. [Both defects detailed in (1) and (2) have existed for several weeks.]
