Placement

Reported via desktop in the Sign Obscured (NH) category anonymously at 16:12, Wednesday 19 March 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7304973.

When exiting Paulerspury from Grays Lane onto the A5, a temporary sign on the left reads "Road Liable to Flooding." However, its placement directly obstructs the view of drivers turning out, creating a serious safety risk.

To get a clear view, motorists are forced to edge dangerously close to the junction line on a busy road. This is especially hazardous for motorcyclists, who may only become visible at the last second.

This sign has been placed without proper consideration for safety. Why is it still there? It needs to be removed or repositioned further to the left to allow drivers a clear and safe view when exiting.

There have already been accidents and fatalities on this road in recent weeks. Let’s not wait for another tragedy—action must be taken now.
