Lights under bridge not replaced

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7300708.

Removed as part of LED scheme, but not replaced, very dark underneath for both cars and pedestrians at night.

    The removal of these lights was not part of the LED roll out. Unfortunately, they had failed, and the conduit protecting the cables had rusted through. Sections of the lighting infrastructure were at risk of collapsing onto the road, making their removal a necessary safety measure.

    We have added a request to replace the lighting at this location to our needs registry. This will be addressed as part of a future scheme once funding opportunities become available.
