There is no 50Mph speed limit sign board at the beginning of the road work in southbound M1 near J22, only sign showing speed restriction is the Repeater signs placed further down the road

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7289519.

We were travelling in M1 southbound direction on 15/03/25 in the evening and we couldn't see any warning signs of reducing speed from 70 to 50mph due to the road work. The only speed limiter visible was the repeater speed limits at 50mph quote a long way down the M1. This was misleading to the drivers.
