Raised curb and no signage makes getting off a45 to housing estate dangerous

Reported via mobile in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 16:00, Sunday 16 March 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7286813.

There is a housing estate (Grange Farm) straight off of the a45 (60/50mph). Getting off of the a45 to enter the housing estate is very dangerous. First of all there is no slip road or at least a dropped curb to get off the road and lower speed. There is also no signage to let drivers know that there is a turn off there. Many times I have ended up with a lorry or car behind me that hasn’t slowed down because they don’t realise the turn off is there and assume I am indicating for the roundabout. This turn off is very dangerous and I believe an accident will happen is something isn’t done. It needs at least signage or for the curb to be dropped to make it safer.
