Blocked drains on the A63 eastbound, on the flyover bridge.

Reported via mobile in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 09:57, Thursday 13 March 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7271480.

Hello,

After heavy rain, water flows across the carriageway. This is because most of the drains which are eastbound / adjacent the central reservation / on the flyover bridge appear to be blocked by debris. There is also quite a lot of debris in the area (mud, small stones, straw). I'm not sure what the drains are like on the westbound carriageway.

I'm not sure how long it's been present.

I appreciate this will require a closure to fix, but hope it might be possible to work on it when the road is closed for the adjacent Castle Street roadworks?
