Glass debris on cycle path

Reported via desktop in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 09:03, Thursday 13 March 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7271061.

Cycle lane that runs along side switch island from Maghull to old roan requires resources to remove all the glass that has accumulated due to the constant traffic accidents. I don`t think it has ever been sweeped. Using it daily I have one puncture a week when I go along this path, I will soon have to use the main road. This stretches from the Aldi in Maghull to the Beefeater establishment. Please can you action a road sweeper to remove debris and put in a schedule of cleaning please. The surrounding area also is littered with plastic, paint pots and general rubbish.
