Litter all the way down M50
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7240401.
As you join the M50 at Travellers Rest roundabout (Ross) and all the way down the central verge is totally covered in litter. It’s a nightmare all the way down. Didn’t take photos till reaching the turn off for Malverns and by then the rubbish seemed to be less than right at the start. Please investigate and you will be as upset as I am at the state of it. Sorry but so upset we’ve decided we can’t bother with that route again as it’s so dire. (Not your fault but someone’s been busy dropping litter down the whole route)

Littering by people is, unfortunately, a behaviour that has a big impact on some parts of our roads. We aim to keep our roads as tidy and free of litter as we can. Our litter picking is carefully planned to try to minimise the impact it has on road users and the safety of our people.
Litter picks often require lane closures, which are disruptive to traffic flow. To help reduce the frequency of this disruption, where we can, we usually combine our reactive litter picks with other maintenance work which can result in what appears to be a delayed response.
