Road works and 50 speed limit signs remain after road works completed months ago.

A14 westbound carriageway in Kentford (alongside Phoenix Bike Park). Drivers are braking for 50 limit when there has been no previous warning. and there has been no roadworks for months.

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the traffic management equipment.

    Upon further investigation it has been established that there is a road defect at that location following works by Anglian Water. They are now arranging some resurfacing work to rectify this issue. As soon as this work is carried out the speed restriction will be lifted.
