Lighting to sines across the motorway not working

Reported via desktop in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 07:44, Sat 1 March 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7207636.

There are two gantries over the clockwise section just before the M20 turn off where the lights are not working. There is only small portions of the direction signs showing. You can not tell the junction is coming up.

Updates

  • I would hasten to say the lighting of the road directions over the M25 is woeful. I travel the road when on an early shift. Having travelled down the A2, I decided to pay attention to their sines. The illumination of the green sines is fantastic. As soon as I reach the M25 and the roundabout, the M25 sines are dim/poorly lit. I travel on the M25 to junction 4 normally. I noticed that many of the lights which do work may be angled too low and do not illuminate the boards. I would say every single sine needs to be addressed. I would suggest who ever does the lights should look at the A2 (there are more sines than the M25) then look at the M25. The roundabout at Junction 4 is poor which I have also reported and the sines at the Hewitt's farm roundabout are incorrect which I also reported last year and they still point in the wrong direction.
