The whole of the motorway junction on the a5 needs new signage on the roads

Reported via mobile in the Faded / Hard to see (NH) category anonymously at 05:53, Saturday 1 March 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7207518.

Hi, I would like to report an ongoing issue that keeps happening whilst I use this junction where people get lost even though they've read signs to where they going almost causing accidents when they last minute realise the lane they are in is the wrong one I think more signs on and around the junction can better help people understand where to go to avoid congestion and accidents happening. People jump from the 2nd m42 lane into the a5 lane just before where the crosshatch is on the bend quite often. Junction 10 coming off the m42 onto the a5 has 3 lanes when it's infact 2 the first left goes into Wilnecote and people realise at the last second before jumping off the slip back into the 2 live lanes. There's no signs on the floor when leaving junction 10 where that left hand lane goes beside telling you the a5. Arrows I think might be needed to guide people into the lane that they need as sometimes they cut across lanes not being aware of other vehicles around them joining the lane next to them.
