Once again reporting abandoned roadwork furniture

Reported via Android in the Abandoned Materials (NH) category anonymously at 18:40, Wed 26 February 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7194735.

Would someone please come and remove ALL abandoned roadwork items left behind.

And put processes in place to fine offending contractors

This is getting out of hand and chasing a mess

Updates

  • Why is this area still untidy with contractors leaving their stuff behind.

Approximately 12 cones, old sand bags, redundant signs stating diversion where diversions are not in place etc.

Thank you clearing some but the road does not need closing to pick-up the majority of signs. Contractors should be fined for leaving them behind otherwise this will continue to cost highways money. Fine them for leaving stuff to pay for all the inconvenience they are causing highways and residents in the area.

Do not close this ticket unless I have given the go ahead that it can be closed because ethics is a problem clearly out of hand.
