This dangerous pothole/subsidence area is STILL present in the road and has been for some time. The hole is very dangerous and if struck causes the car to alter direction as well as making a loud thud to the wheel. Drivers who spot the hole are swerving at relatively high speed to try and avoid it. This is acceptable and needs urgent attention before someone is hurt! The stretch of the A35 from Askerwell down to Bridport is an overall poor state and needs repairing urgently!

Dreadful disregard for the safety of road users being displayed by the so called responsible authorities. Since reporting this hazardous defect all that has happened is a crew have thrown a shovelful of tarmac into the subsidence crater to give the impression of a suitable response to the danger. It is not a satisfactory solution. Shame on you.
