One day there is going to be a big accident

Reported via desktop in the Faded / Hard to see (NH) category anonymously at 21:40, Thursday 20 February 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7164855.

The white lines as you approach the roundabout from St Albans can not be seen. People using the left and middle lane often don't follow the lines which causes people to cut people up. I commute on this route daily and have seen SEVERAL near misses on a daily basis between large lorries and cars where it's not clear what lane leads to where. When you are coming from St Albans towards the A1M and you are in the left lane it's not clear what lane you go in as you pass the comet way turning and go towards the A1M. This needs to be resolved before there is a large crash, as this has been like this for a good 12+ months now.
