  If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.

  Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.

• Thank you for contacting National Highways.

  The section of barrier that is damaged is under the responsibility of the Local Authority so this needs to be directed to them.

  We were originally sent the enquiry for the damage but we are only responsible for the section of barrier that is directly linked to the bridge structure.

  This issue you have reported is further along and becomes down to the Local Authority to repair.
