Loads of redundant materials

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7146956.

Old cones, frames, sand bags and other paraphernalia left all along th A1 both directions between Stamford and Grantham. Many of the cones have been shredded after you've cut the central reservation. You're an absolute disgrace national highways.

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant traffic management equipment. We will arrange for one of our local inspectors to investigate this. Where we have identified redundant equipment, this will be removed. However, in some cases we do leave items in place for future use. Some isolated cones may also be in place for a specific purpose that may not be clear to passing vehicles. Kind regards National Highways
