Graffiti on bridge support

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7146102.

The M62 underpass on Wellands Lane is getting covered with graffiti, with more tags seemingly added every few days and stretching further and further into the tunnel all the time. It has been a problem for several months.

    We aim to remove or cover offensive graffiti within 24 hours of our inspection.

    Non-offensive graffiti is dealt with under planned cyclical works and therefore can take longer to remove.

    We will arrange for our local inspector to look at this as part of the routes regular safety inspection.
