Speeding traffic approaching the blind bend on A36 at BA26XH

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7139397.

The speed limit needs to be reduced from 40 mph at the blind bend on the A36 at BA26XH Dry Arch corner. On numerous occasions using the access to our property we have escaped serious collision damage and injury only by the skin of our teeth by vehicles travelling at too high a speed approaching the blind bend from both directions .

    There're currently no safety improvements, including speed limit reductions, planned for the A36 in Bathampton.

    We have to prioritise locations with the largest safety problems and there've been no recorded injury accidents in the last 5 years in Bathampton.
