Extremely dirty road

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category by Cllr Debbie Soloman at 16:02, Fri 14 February 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7135671.

Dirt from the Spitfire development on the north side of this location is constantly being spilt on to the carriageway of the A52. The road surface is dirty, there is an increasing pile of mud in the central areas at this 4 way (slightly offset) junction and there is mud along the sides of the carriageway going east (left carrrigeway) and west (left carriageway) due to lorries leaving the development site being muddy. There is a wheel washing requirement from the developer but this is poor if at all. Further more they fill up a water container at the end of the St James (north road) at the A52 junction which is incredibly dangerous! The road needs a through clean is both directions from this location as the mud is getting to the point where is really dangerous in both directions.
