Traffic lights turning red when no pedestrians have pushed the button, button appears to be stuck on.

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 06:41, Friday 14 February 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7132516.

The traffic lights as you turn onto Watling Street towards the island for A460, turn to red, stopping traffic flow on the island completely, when no pedestrians have pressed the button to cross. When the light turns back to green the pedestrian button seems to activate again, as if it is stuck on? It then will turn red again after a few minutes. The traffic lights are on a one way road, so there is no other reason for them to turn red apart from when a pedestrian pressed the button in.
