A metal gate has had the lock cut off with boltcutters.

Reported via mobile in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 14:37, Monday 10 February 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7113106.

Near to 128 Boothroyden Road, Manchester M9 0SH. The land opposite 128 was landscaped & a footpath made a few years ago, it leads right down to Sainsbury’s. The path has a guard to stop motorbikes (which it doesn’t stop smaller ones) there is also a double metal gate which gives access to the landscaped area. This is always kept locked, presumably put there for machinery maintenance access. Thursday 6 February pm motorcycle youths cut open the gate with bolt cutters. GMP and MCC Asbat team have been informed.
