A tree has fallen and is obstructing the cycle path
Reported via mobile in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 19:30, Wednesday 5 February 2025
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7092535.
A tree has fallen and is partially blocking the cycle path on the north side of the road near South Hunsley School. This is very dangerous and needs dealing with urgently because there is no street lighting on this section of cycle path and it is eye level. If a cyclist were to hit it in the dark, it could cause a nasty facial injury or damage their eyes. It is located approximately halfway along the section of path where the path to the school runs the other side of the hedge.

This is urgent. It could cause very serious facial or eye injury to cyclists on the cycle path after dark The road and cycle path is unlit (due to the ongoing roadworks) and the tree is blocking almost 2/3 of the path and cannot be seen in the dark. It requires urgent removal. Thank you.
