Large cardboard box , with a postcode on in the middle of the carrigeway.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7055049.

Cardboard box from a highchair in the middle lane of the carriageway. I had no room to manoeuvre either side without hitting an HGV in the left hand lane , or a line of cars in the fast lane. This has then damaged my car when I hit it at 55mph.

  • This has damaged my car , the box which I recovered as it was dragged down the road by my car has a delivery address label and name attached to it...

    I can see you've noted the box was recovered by yourself and you have a name and address.

    The responsibility for any damage to your vehicle is the person who dropped the litter. As you're in the unique position of being able to identify who that is, we'd advise that you provide the information to your insurance company, who would then be able to pursue a claim for you.
