    We became aware of issues at J34 M1 due to a fault between different plans that were running, which adapt to traffic volumes to keep traffic moving.

    The fault was fixed on the same day, but a root cause analysis is still ongoing to determine the corrective action to ensure this fault does not occur again in the future.

    Please be assured that all parties involved between National Highways, the Local Authority and associated Service Providers are all engaged to resolve this issue.
