M1 North Jct 23 Exit sign damaged

Reported via mobile in the Damage to Sign (NH) category anonymously at 11:37, Wednesday 29 January 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7051946.

On the M1 northbound as you leave for junction 23, the exit sign is damaged. The left arrow sign for A512 (between the slip road and main carriageway) is splitting apart and is becoming illegible.

Currently the sign is bending and splitting, hanging on the posts at an angle, so the sign is not as clear to read from the road. The posts are also at an angle so the posts require straightening up as well.

If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.
