Sign Missing

Reported via desktop in the Damage to Sign (NH) category anonymously at 10:04, Wednesday 29 January 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7051106.

Re-log of issue FMS6992744 with clearer detail: Around March 2019, the M62 Junction 36 (A614) westbound half-mile-to-exit sign (approaching marker M62 B 160.5) was badly damaged by an overturned lorry, taking with it the surrounding safety barrier. This three-post structure was then entirely removed, along with the entire, damaged safety barrier, and replaced with 3 cones. These cones, I believe, are still present, but are covered with overgrown grass, and so the destruction has been forgotten about and since that time there has been no half-mile-to-exit sign for M62 J36 westbound.
