Thick mud washing down off south downs way into cycle path east of housedean farm

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7049952.

This resulted in my partner coming off his bike and breaking his pelvis and shoulder on 14th Jan 25 The mud is a long term persistent problem eg mud needs clearing and measures put in place to stop more mud washing down onto cycle.path just east of housedean farm where the south down way drops down the hill onto the cycle path

    We're sorry to hear about the incident on 14 January and trust your partner is recovering.

    An inspection has been carried out and arrangements for the mud to be cleared and warning signs to be installed have been raised.

    Long term we're considering improvement potential to the cycle path and this report of water coming from third land has been passed to the relevant team for their awareness.
