After Membury Services Outside Lane

Hi,Going towards London, Between Membury Services & the 108.5 marker - in the outside lane of the M4 there is a nasty pothole which I hit last Sunday night. Sorry can’t provide better location or pictures! It really rocked the car though. Hope you can find & fix it.

    I’m really sorry to hear that you hit a pothole. I can imagine that must have been quite a shock, especially at night.

    I just wanted to reassure you that we’re aware of the issue. There’s a section of cracking in the passenger-side wheel track along this stretch, and a temporary repair has already been carried out to make it safe. We’re also monitoring it daily along with our service provider.

    There is signage in place at marker 112.5 to warn drivers of the uneven surface ahead, and this area is part of an ongoing inlay scheme. However, this particular defect won’t be permanently addressed for a couple more weeks as it’s towards the end of the planned work.
