Potholes and debris

Reported via mobile in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 22:00, Sun 26 January 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7036463.

I have just driven from Newbury just off the m4 to Oxford junction on the A34 and in both directions came across several large and dangerous potholes. One was around east ilsley junction going today Oxford the other was in Newbury direction . Sorry I can’t be more specific the rain was really bad anyway. And I couldn’t get specific locations. But the roads surface was notable dangerous in places. I also noted several shredded tyres along the way particularly Newbury to Oxford direction. Which given the state of the road in general didn’t surprise me. I think there was also a broken road sign on the left handside direction of Oxford. I thought this road was especially dangerous given it’s quite a fast road. There was at least 2 accidents that I saw today.
