Huge pothole on bridge

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7035571.

There has been a huge pothole on the bridge crossing over the A14 which connects to the A43.

NNC (North Northamptonshire Council) has advised on several occasions now, that the island repairs are not dealt with by them but instead the National Highways as it's part of the A43.

Please can you advise if National Highways will attend to this pothole and if not please kindly inform NNC that they need to fix it instead. It has been there for months and needs resolving urgently as this is a busy commuter road.
