The Lancashire Red Rose county boundary sign is very dirty

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7034910.

It’s our “welcome home” sign and integral to our journeys but It’s so dirty you can’t see it at the moment. It is noticeably dirtier than the white rose Yorkshire sign on the other side of the motorway. I suspect foul play and that this section of the motorway is maintained by Yorkshire folk. Please make the Lancastrian diaspora happy 🌹

    If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.
