There aren't any traffic lights here ir a roundabout at this dangerous junction

This junction is dangerous. Even more so following the opening of the dual carriage way to windy Harbour. Traffic is backed up constantly on the A585 meaning, if you live in the villages its literally a death wish crossing from Thistleton B5629 over A585 Fleetwood Road to B5629 Mile road. Time of day is irrelevant. Rush hour and stationery traffic on 585 means traffic wishing to cross from 5629 basically can't unless someone let's you out, so your stuck in middle of carriage way until you can get the whole way across. This means you run the risk of idiot motorcyclists overtaking standing traffic smashing into your side. Outside of rush hour traffic on 585 is so fast anyone crossing from 5629 is really risking life to cross. Increase in rural housing in Elswick and Great Eccleston means Increase in traffic at all times of day. There needs urgent mitigation of this increasingly dangerous junction. Traffic lights, or preferably a roundabout is very urgently needed
