Badly damaged road surface.

On the northbound carriageway approximately, 300/500 metres before the entrance to tunnel (difficult for me to pinpoint the exact location as I was travelling at 65 mph in the dark). I was in the left hand lane and hit a patch badly damaged road surface which had an adverse effect on the my vehicle steering. Any further deterioration will cause damage to suspension and potentially destabilise the vehicle.
