Problem with visibiility of lane restriction barrier at southbound slip road of Jct 3 on the M£

Reported via mobile in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 15:37, Tuesday 21 January 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7012556.

At night, because they are not clearly marked, this continuous line of barriers is very dificult to see.

I do not undersand though as throughout the roaworks on the M3 between Jcts 2 and 4a all the cones marking the closed lanes have a light on the top of them and are also reflective. And yet when joining the M3 at jct 3 there is nothing at night to highlight the presence of these barriers which are far heavier and more ubstantial than the cones. There are no lights on them, no reflectors so absolutely nothing to make them more visible as you join the motorway. The problem is exacerbated because drivers are concentrating looking to their right as they merge onto the motorway need be ba made better aware of the hazard on theit left. All it needs is lights fitted to the tops of the line of barriers and also some form of reflective panels. Surely that can be done and hopefuly avoid a serious accident.
