Road surface supporting a manhole/drainage cover has failed AGAIN causing extremely loud "clacking" noise whenever a vehicle drives over it and effecting local residence, potential danger is not fixed more permanently. Located about 10 meters west of the traffic lights (on the west bound carriageway - opposite Manor Way, Lancing, West Sussex (near BN15-9EZ)

    The cover isn't our asset and belongs to Southern Water. We're aware of issues and reported a previous failed repair to Southern Water in December 2024 requesting they attend and address.
