Several Potholes

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6994552.

The number of potholes on the Northbound On Slip seem to be increasing in both number and depth. Drivers are swerving up the slip road to try and avoid, at a point your attention should have capacity to safely join a high speed carriageway, not swerving left and right round potholes. Particularly in the dark they are getting harder to avoid.

  • Thank you for making your report regarding the road surface condition on the A5 at the Bletcham Way northbound entry slip road. We have asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue.

    If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
