Sign damaged

Reported via desktop in the Damage to Sign (NH) category anonymously at 09:09, Friday 17 January 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6992845.

Since 2018, the list-of-destinations sign following the entry slip of M62 Junction 36 (A614) westbound (approaching marker M62 B 158.4, and which is made up of strips of sign, rather than one sheet of sign) has been slowly disappearing: first the top piece, losing the motorway name, and then all but the last strip, leaving only the fourth, Leeds, destination. This is in an area that is often affected by strong winds.

Updates

  • I have set the map marker on the reporting tool to the wrong place. The marker should be west of M62 J36, not east.
