Pedestrian refuge out of use and the street light adjacent to this location is out of use. This is now a known hazard to life.

Reported via mobile in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 20:20, Wed 15 January 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6986362.

With the lamp post now not lighting the area around the missing pedestrian refuge to cross the busy A5, this is now a hazard to anyone attempting to cross the road. Due to the time that school children have to catch the bus the area is in darkness with the street lights that are working to far away to make a difference and due to the orange light they produce, it is very difficult for road users to see pedestrians in the poor lighting conditions. This should be treated as a priority and not ignored.
