Reported via mobile in the Off the carriageway (NH) category anonymously at 15:19, Monday 13 January 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6973785.

Under the hall road or near there but further there was a full body fox i dont know if it was dead or not but it seemed dead.It was on the left side towards hard shoulder on the way to kent.

There was also another fox full body on the m2 at m2 53.5 area but it was on the right lane people were trying to avoid going over it so it cause cause a accident maybe because people are trying to move to the left to avoid it.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways about the animal on our network.

Safety is our highest priority and any animals on the carriage way that pose a risk to vehicles and their occupants will be removed as quickly and safely as possible.

Wild animals, lying off the carriageway, on verges or the central reservation, are normally left to naturally decay. However, they will be removed if they are considered a hazard, a danger to public health or there is a statutory obligation for testing or removal.

Our local inspector team will make these assessments during their regular safety inspections.

    Kind regards National Highways
