Missing kerb edges

Reported via desktop in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 14:48, Sunday 12 January 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6968619.

Parts of the kerb edge are missing between 93 upper Brighton Road and third avenue. There is also edging missing to one side of the pedestrian crossing outside number 93. I recently cleared all the soil and leaves off the foot way and noticed these missing kerb edges. It would be great if they could be replaced to help keep the soil back.

Updates

  • Would it help if I sent some photos?

  • Thank you for your report and for the maintenance to the footpath.

We've assessed the location and the missing kerb edges have been noted on our network needs list for replacement. At this time we're unable to advise a date.

Responsibility for footpath weeping lies with Adur and Worthing DC.

    Kind regards
