Flooding / ice / danger to life

Reported via mobile in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 08:46, Friday 10 January 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6959831.

Hello, every year we have issues with flooding on the exit on to the a27 coming off dover lane. during the cold winter months the standing water freezes making it extremely dangerous exiting as there is a high risk that vehicle users will not be able to stop and slide out onto the a27 directly into oncoming traffic. there is a children's hospice further up the lane and nurses using these roads continuously during on and off peak times. i would be extremally grateful if this can be regularly maintained / gritted.
