Traffic lights not working

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6954706.

The traffic lights coming off the junction from the South are still not working.

This causes a long tail back on to the motorway as the queue is longer than the slip road.

It shouldn't take several days to fix a traffic light.

In this weather the tailbacks could cause a nasty accident on the main motorway

    We’re aware of issues here which are due to a cable fault in one of the signal poles which was causing conflicting signals. As a safety measure while we work to address the fault the signals have been turned off and ‘Out of Order’ boards installed for driver awareness with the junction operating as a normal non signalised roundabout.

    Whilst we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales can vary depending on the complexity of work required to rectify issues, including road space approval necessary for traffic management to allow the repairs to be carried out.
