Blocked drains and over grown verges

Reported via mobile in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 20:50, Wednesday 8 January 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6953745.

I travel between Petersfield and Portsmouth everyday (via A3/A3(M)). I've just driven from Petersfield to Heathrow Airport Every drain, watercourse and verge along A3/A3(M) is overgrown, blocked or full of weeds. Water can not run off the carriageway and is pushed back on, causing aquaplaning. There have been multiple crashes on the A3 this last week during heavy rain, how many were due to the negligence in maintaining the drains? Some weeds growing in/out of drains are over 3ft tall! Some verges have been allowed to grow in to the carriageway! It's been this way for over 2 years now.
