Continually Flashing Speed Camera

Reported via mobile in the Damage to Sign (NH) category anonymously at 09:18, Monday 6 January 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6936404.

One lane was closed due to a stranded vehicle according to the sign on the inside lane. Red X above the lane. Variable speed limit showing as 40mph but traffic was crawling and travelling much slower. The speed camera on the gantry before Junction 9 was continually flashing as vehicles passed. This is dazzling given the dark conditions and bright flash. This was occuring at some point between 08:00 and 08:30 on Monday 6th January 2025.
