I have already reported this but both authorities deny responsibility. Initial Report. The solid white lines on the westbound on slip are in need of refreshing, the hard hard to see in the daylight & even harder in the dark. This poses a risk to increasing amount of traffic that wishes to turn right out of the junction when leaving the Endsleigh complex. Traffic travelling westbound to join the A38 often cross the solid white line to pass slower vehicles turning left into Endsleigh. A car may leave the junction to turn right on the basis the approaching car is indicating to turn left only to find the car behind has cross the solid whites creating a risk for a head on collision. National Highways Response. Thank you for contacting National Highways. On reviewing the point on the map you've indicated the local authority is responsible for maintenance issues of this nature on this road, which is the B3213. My feedback. This is the response I was expecting. If you select this location on the Devon county website they state National highways are responsible and will not allow a report to be logged on their site. This appears to be a " no mans land" which neither authority wishes to assume responsibility. I would like to think that some collaborative thinking between both authorities would be the sensible solution. I have tried to all the location to fixmystreet, however Devon County council do not recognise this platform, preferring their own system which then says it's not their responsibility.
