Cones in many places along the M1

The entire motorway is littered with cones where work may or more is not taking place. I understand that you understand that is frustrating but that is not sufficient. What is needed is a more intelligent approach to the whole issue of roadworks. These endless 50mph stretches are costing the country a fortune and damaging our mental health.

    We will arrange for one of our local inspectors to investigate this. Where we have identified redundant equipment, this will be removed.
